Web Accessibility Policy

Yokohama Financial Group always acts on a customer-first basis.
We will contribute to the sustainable development of dynamic regional communities toward the realization of “a solution company rooted in communities and selected as a partner to walk together” with a strong determination to become the most familiar presence by expanding the range and enhancing the quality of solutions to the issues faced by customers and the regional communities.

In order to ensure, maintain, and improve the accessibility of the Yokohama Financial Group’s website, we are working to apply “JIS X 8341-3:2016 Guidelines for older persons and persons with disabilities -- Information and communications equipment, software and services -- Part 3: Web content” and the World Wide Consortiam（W3C） Web Content Accessibility Guidelines （WCAG) 2.2 W3C Recommendation 12 December 2024.

1. Web pages using the following third-party services are dependent on the specifications of the service provider and from FY2025 will be outside the scope of this policy for the time being.

2. PDF (Portable Document Format) files, data files created by spreadsheet software or document creation software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word), etc. are outside the scope of this policy because they include those that the Company did not create and does not have the right to modify, and it is difficult to modify them from a technical point of view.

Our target is JIS X 8341-3:2016 level AA compliance*.
In addition, WCAG 2.2 compliance level AA will be met to the extent possible as a target for maintenance and improvement.

*The expression “compliance” in this policy is based on the expression specified in the “JIS X 8341-3:2016 Guidelines for Web Content Compatibility - April 2021 Version” (Japanese only) of the Info-communication Access Council’s Web Accessibility Infrastructure Committee.
